CRFU Match Starting Player Number Regulations & Matching Number Criteria
Number of players required on the field at commencement of the game

U18 – U14 – Maximum of 15 per team, game should proceed with even numbers in scrum

U13 – U11 – Maximum of 15 per team, game must proceed with even numbers on each team including even numbers in scrum

U10 – U8 – Maximum of 10 per team, game must proceed with even numbers on each team including even numbers in scrum

U7 – U6 - Maximum of 7 per team, game must proceed with even numbers on each team

If teams lose players after game has commenced then:

Small Blacks rugby - U13 & below must be played with equal numbers on the field.

Games played under DSLV - U14.5 - Colts can be played with unequal numbers BUT scrum must have equal numbers (DSLV Law 20)
